After a night at the Premier Inn, Havant, we depart from Portsmouth in the comfort of a Brittany Ferries' 'Commodore Cabin' (numbered
7131 and named La Bouille) aboard their newest ship Guillame de Normandie.
An evening with Isabelle and Noel at La Java Bleue - an excellent restaurant near Amanlis where the meal ends with complimentary glasses
of rum.
Isabelle studies the Ten Journeys to St-Didier photobook.
Our exploration of Liffre (where Le Tour is due to come through on July 12th) includes lunch at
Lion d'Or (excellent chocolate mousse)
and a stroll on the streets that will host Stage 8 of the race.
