FRANCE 2025
June 29th to July 18th
Near to Liffre, we visit the Menhirs in Foret de Haute-Seve, Landavran, passing the Chateau du Bertry at La Bouexiere on
the way to Val d'Ize and St-Aubin de Cormier.
An interpretation of a menhir portrayed in St-Aubin.
Chateau ruins in St-Aubin.
A drive to the Chateau du Trecesson takes us to the west of Rennes, into the department of Morbihan. Returning via Rennes, we eat
at a branch of Flunch.
The chateau is located in the Foret de Broceliande, as illustrated by a mural in Paimpont.
The Chateau du Trecesson is a medieval castle, privately owned but open to the public. We enjoy a private tour with a young man who
speaks excellent English.
A snack of crepes at the chateau.
Our chateau tour includes a distant view of the guide's basic accommodation.
